Text message opt-in

Motivate MD sends optional account-notification text messages to members who ask for them — appointment and advising call reminders, updates when application materials are ready to view, deadline reminders, and account status updates. This is not a marketing program.

Opting in is entirely optional. You can create an account, purchase, and use every Motivate MD service without agreeing to receive text messages, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

“No” is selected for you by default. Submitting with “No” selected — or with the whole form left blank — is a normal, successful submission: you will not be opted in and no text messages will ever be sent to you.

How this works

Answer whether you want texts. “No — don’t text me” is selected by default, and submitting with it selected (or with the whole form blank) is a normal, successful submission: you are not opted in and nothing is ever sent to you.
To opt in, select “Yes” yourself (it is never pre-selected) and enter the email on your Motivate MD account plus the mobile number you want texts sent to.
We text a one-time 6-digit code to confirm the number belongs to you.
Enter the code. We then send a single confirmation text and your opt-in is complete.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the notification topics you enable. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also manage or remove your number any time in Settings → Notifications inside your account.

We use mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information only to deliver the notifications you enabled. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
